Amsterdam: Information and attractions

Internationality characterize the city’s restaurant scene and image of Amsterdam: you can eat the whole world. In Amsterdam, there’s no best time. The city is always in season and every season has its own charm. This spring, however, with the proverbial tulips from Amsterdam, has already driven many an amateur gardener with his flowers on the brink of madness.
A trip to Amsterdam starts best with a canal cruise. The investor places the boat companies are, for example, near the train station or the Stadthouderskade. About the Berenstraße it goes back towards the center, Begijnhof Spui input, the most famous and largest courtyard in Amsterdam, where the Begijnen live in a kind of Christian community. Along the Amstel river to get to Skinny Bridge, the famous wooden drawbridge, which is a landmark in Amsterdam. A visit to the Heineken Brewery is interesting, and thirst quenching.

The Van Gogh Museum

The Van Gogh museum in a very spartan-looking from the outside concrete block on the Museumplein, the largest one can admire a large Van Gogh exhibition in the world. Shopping in Amsterdam can be everywhere and everything to Elegant-sophisticated, expensive and less expensive. For antique hunters Amsterdam is a paradise. In the Jordaan district can be found in the streets with flower and plant names small bookstores and interesting boutiques. In the Prinsengracht and Herrenstraat sell its Dutch fashion designer. Expensive and exclusive, international designers in the PCHoofstraat in the Van Baerlestraat and Beethovenstraat. The long Kalverstraat is a long shopping street with large and very interesting little shops and shoe shops.

Opening times of shops

The opening times are usually from 09:00 to 18:00 clock, Thursday or Friday to 21:00 clock, Saturday to 17:00 clock. Some shops are open Sunday from noon. In the land of bicycles is a guided bicycle tour but obvious at first glance, nothing special, in Amsterdam, however, it is highly amusing and instructive at the same time. The tours are offered by Yellow Bike. The city tour lasts three hours with 20 minutes break and costs 17?. A reservation about www.yellowbike.nl is strongly recommended.
Eating out in Amsterdam is not always satisfactory, because the
Price-performance ratio is often not true. The listed bars are not cheap – for two people including wine you have to expect a minimum of 40 € -, but very good:
